Have the customer:
- Check a different device at the outlet
- Determine if customer is using a surge protector/extender and if so and if possible bypass it
- If customer is using an extender or surge protector, confirm the power button is fully on and does not need to be reset.
- CAREFULLY confirm the power cord is firmly connected in the back of the ONU
- As a last resort, if possible, without stretching/bending the fiber, test the ONU in a different outlet
