  1. Confirm the Extender is listed on the account as a piece of equipment. If not, add it
  2. Confirm the customer has access to an ethernet cable (usually gray). Note: the tech likely left one in the box that the Extender came in.
  3. Have the customer unplug the Extender and move it next to the ONU
  4. Plug the Extender into an electrical outlet next to the ONU.
  5. Plug one end of the ethernet cable into LAN 1 on the Halny and WAN 1 on the ONU
