As part of this upgrade, all of our fiber internet plans now come equipped with HALNy ONU/router hardware, exclusively selected for their performance and reliability across our three powerful service tiers.

To ensure seamless coverage in every corner of your home, we also offer a Wi-Fi Mesh Extender completely free of charge — so you can enjoy Whole Home Wi-Fi with no dead zones, no disruptions, just powerful connectivity everywhere you need it.

Below, you’ll find simple setup guides for two of our main HALNy routers currently in use, as well as our primary mesh extender. Getting connected has never been easier!

HL-4GQV ONU/Router Combo

🔍 Status Light Meanings:

  • Solid Green: All systems good!
  • Flashing Blue: Updating software
  • Amber Light: Connection issues
  • Red Light: Needs attention (see below)
🚀 3-Minute Speed Boost:
  1. Locate reset button (back panel)
  2. Press and hold for 15 seconds
  3. Wait 2 minutes for full reboot
  4. Retest speed at https://www.speedtest.net

🔧 Common Fixes:

🐢 Slow Internet?

Try this sequence:

  1. Unplug router power
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Plug back in
  4. Test with one device connected

📶 WiFi Cutting Out?

Channel optimizer:

  1. Login at 192.168.33.1
  2. Go to Wireless Settings
  3. Change 5GHz channel to 36, 44, or 149
  4. Save changes

🎮 Gamer Pro Tips:

Prioritize your console/PC:

  1. Access router settings
  2. Find “Device Priority”
  3. Drag gaming device to top
  4. Save and enjoy lower ping!

HL-4GXV-F ONU/Router Combo

Best For:

  • 🏠 Large homes (2,200+ sq ft)
  • 📺 Ultra HD / 4K Streaming
  • 🎧 Households with multiple devices
Initial Setup:
  1. Plug in the power adapter and press the power button to turn the router on.
  2. Connect the fiber optic line to the port labeled PON on the back of the router.
  3. Wait for the PON LED to turn solid green (this may take a minute). The LOS light should be off.
  4. Once stable, the router is successfully connected to Zito Fiber Internet.
Wi-Fi Setup (WPS Method):
  1. On the back of the router, press the “WPS” button.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your device (TV, printer, etc.).
  3. The device should automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. If needed, repeat for additional devices.
Wi-Fi Setup (Manual Method):
  1. Find the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and default password on the sticker located on the bottom of the router.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, go to your Wi-Fi settings and select the SSID.
  3. Enter the password exactly as shown (case sensitive).
  4. You’re now connected to your Zito Fiber Internet!
Optional: Router Login
  1. Open a browser and enter 192.168.33.1 in the address bar.
  2. Log in using the default username and password on the sticker.
  3. From here, you can update Wi-Fi names, passwords, and security settings.

Quick Setup Instructions:
  1. Choose a location: Plug the extender into a wall outlet about halfway between your router and the weak signal area.
  2. Power it on: Wait for the Power LED to turn solid green.
  3. Press the WPS button on your HALNy router.
  4. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the extender.
  5. Wait for the extender’s Wi-Fi LED to turn solid green – this means it’s connected and ready.
Tips for Best Performance:
  • 🏡 Place it in open areas (not behind furniture or inside cabinets).
  • 📱 Test the signal using your mobile device to confirm improved coverage.
  • 🔁 If needed, repeat the WPS process to reconnect.
